Watercolor Landscapes at Art, Heart & Hoofbeats Sanctuary
Experience the beauty of watercolor in a place where nature is both your classroom and your inspiration.
Our two-hour Watercolor Landscape class begins with a gentle walk through the sanctuary, where we'll slow down, observe the changing light, listen to the sounds of nature, and discover the colors, textures, and quiet moments that make this place so special. Along the way, you may be greeted by rescued horses, curious goats, birds, butterflies, and blooming gardens—each offering inspiration for your painting.
Back in the studio, you'll learn watercolor techniques including washes, layering, color mixing, composition, and creating depth while painting your own landscape. Whether you're capturing a peaceful pasture, winding trail, wildflowers, or a favorite view from the sanctuary, you'll be encouraged to paint what speaks to you.
