Painting Club – Inclusive Acrylic Art Program
Painting Club at Art, Heart & Hoofbeats Sanctuary (AHHS) is an accessible, community-based art program designed to support creative expression, social connection, and emotional wellbeing for participants of all abilities. This weekly acrylic painting class provides structured, skill-building instruction in a supportive, inclusive environment where all materials are provided to remove financial and accessibility barriers.
Each session introduces a new artistic concept or technique while encouraging participants to make independent creative choices and engage in collaborative, team-supported learning. The program emphasizes positive peer interaction, confidence building, and self-expression through visual art practices.
When weather permits, classes are held outdoors within the sanctuary environment, allowing participants to engage with nature and experience the calming presence of rescue animals. This nature-integrated setting supports stress reduction, sensory regulation, and mindfulness while enhancing creative engagement.
