Horse Ambassadors Program

A Horse Ambassador is a bridge.

Someone who is willing to slow down, listen, and learn the language of the horse—then carry that understanding into how they show up in the world.

A Horse Ambassador is not someone who controls or “uses” a horse.
Someone who:

  • Advocates for the horse first—honoring their needs, boundaries, and story

  • Learns to communicate clearly and respectfully, without force

  • Builds trust through consistency and presence

  • Notices what’s happening beneath the surface—in the horse and in themselves

  • regulates their own energy

  • become more aware of how they impact others

  • show up with more honesty and care

  • Being a Horse Ambassador isn’t just about learning horses.

 What You’ll Learn

  • Foundations of equine communication

  • How horses perceive safety and trust

  • Groundwork and handling skills (non-riding)

  • Grooming, care, and daily routines

  • How trauma can affect behavior—and how to respond with awareness

This is experiential learning—you learn by being present with the horses.

What Makes This Different

✔ Non-riding, relationship-based approach
✔ Trauma-informed for both horses and humans
✔ Focus on connection, not control
✔ Small group, hands-on learning

This is not about training horses to perform.
It’s about building mutual understanding and trust—for both horse and human.

Who This Is For

The Horse Ambassadors Program is a great fit for:

  • Individuals who want to deepen their relationship with horses

  • Teens and adults interested in animal behavior and communication

  • Those seeking personal growth and reflection

  • People who value patience, connection, and working at a slower pace

No prior horse experience is required—just a willingness to learn and listen.

 Why It Matters

As participants learn to understand horses, they often begin to understand themselves in new ways.

This work invites:

  • Patience

  • Awareness

  • Clear communication

  • Respect for boundaries

It is an opportunity to heal yourself while supporting a horse—growing together through trust, presence, and care.
