Belong to something real. Something healing. Something special.

At Art, Heart & Hoofbeats Sanctuary (AHHS), everyone belongs.
We especially welcome people from marginalized communities who are seeking restoration, resilience, and renewal.

Many arrive looking for a place to breathe again, and here they find joy, love, and laughter. They also discover meaningful connection with horses, nature, and creative expression.

Our herd supports healing in community. We partner with Carver County Mental Health, Carver County Family Services, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Minneapolis. We also collaborate with NAMI Minnesota and the Jeremiah Program Women’s Shelter. We welcome youth in the justice system and serve People First Cancer Support Groups. We support First Responders and Veterans and their families, and we work alongside Magnifying Abilities and Eastern Carver County Schools, Chanhassen Communities of Belonging.

We would love to welcome your favorite nonprofit into our growing herd of partners.

Community Connections

Our inclusive sanctuary offers joy-filled, non-riding experiences designed for teens and adults (ages 13+). Through horses, art, and nature, we create fun and meaningful moments that spark curiosity, encourage mindfulness, and grow a sense of belonging. Every visit is a chance to breathe, laugh, and experience the magic of connection.
